Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga featuring Sonam Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla in the pivotal roles, hits the screen today. This most unexpected romantic tale of the year has been produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani and was directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar.
The film asks viewers to not discriminate love on the basis of caste or sex. While Sonam will be seen playing a lesbian character in the film, South actress Regina Cassandra will play her love interest.
ELKDTAL is the first movie to come up on the big screen after the landmark judgement of the Supreme Court which decriminalised homosexuality striking out Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code.

The movie was released today and has received a lot of appreciation from the B-Town and is expected to rake up some good numbers at the box office collections. The movie will face competition from last week’s release Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
