On her birthday, Ekta Kapoor launched the poster of her new web series M.O.M- Mission over Mars. The show is inspired by the story of women behind India’s successful Mangalyaan mission and in a major gaffe, the poster featured wrong space rocket.
The story is about four women scientists who were involved in India’s Mars Orbiter Mission launched in 2013. Actors Sakshi Tanwar, Mona Singh, Nidhi Singh, and Palomi Ghosh start in the ALTBalaji show.

The poster features a Russian Soyuz launch vehicle along with the Indian flag whereas ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) which is also called Mangalyaan was launched aboard a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket C25.
The Twitter users spotted the mistake and criticized the makers for the lack of research into the subject before launching the poster.
Check a few reactions:
The fact that the poster uses the wrong rocket is already a big flag. @MinnieVaid did you know about this? https://t.co/eR8tut8hkE

Could it be that they didn’t have a single expert as a consultant for this series? ?

The series is “part-fiction, part real story” based on the achievements of all the women in Indian science.
