After teasing their prototype in Auto Expo 2020 Okinawa Oki100 has finally revealed the information about its much-awaited electronic bike in India.
According to the reports, the company will launch its much-hyped electronic bike in the upcoming March 2021.
The great thing about Okinawa Oki’s 100 is that it is completely Made in India. And its performance will rival the bikes in the 125cc-150cc range.
The production model is yet to be revealed by the company but looking at the prototype the bike is worth all the hype. It sports an oval-shaped headlamp, a muscular fuel tank, minimal side panels, and raised handlebars.
The electric two-wheeler manufacturer will equip the Okinawa Oki100 with a 2.5 kW motor and a swappable lithium-ion battery pack. The electric motorcycle’s top speed will be somewhere around 100 km/h and the bike’s riding range will be in the vicinity of 150 km per single charge as reported by Times Drive.
Apart from the Oki100, Okinawa is expected to launch three more electric two-wheelers, including the Cruiser maxi-electric scooter which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Another high-performance electric scooter is also expected to be launched, along with an e-bike for commercial applications, designed for load carrying, including delivery and courier services.
