Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 Fee Is Reportedly 10 Times His Original Salary
The biggest talking point is Hashmi’s reported pay jump. Reports suggest that the actor earned approximately ₹1.2 crore for Awarapan (2007). For Awarapan 2, his reported remuneration has risen to around ₹12 crore.
That represents an increase of approximately 10 times. The original film was not a major theatrical success when it released in 2007 but gradually developed a strong cult following, particularly because of Hashmi’s performance and its soundtrack.
Disha Patani Reportedly Charges ₹5 Crore
Disha Patani, who joins Hashmi as the female lead in Awarapan 2, is reportedly being paid around ₹5 crore. The film marks the first screen pairing of Hashmi and Patani. Patani plays Zara, a character who becomes an important part of Shivam Pandit’s journey in the sequel.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi is another major addition to the sequel. She reportedly plays Nafisa, with reports putting her remuneration somewhere between ₹2 crore and ₹5 crore.
