Euphoria Season 3 Release: HBO’s Euphoria is finally coming back for Season 3 in Spring 2026. Production kicked off in early 2025, so we’ll have to wait a bit, but it’s happening. Like the last two seasons, this one has eight episodes.

What’s changing this time around?
Quite a bit. The story jumps ahead about five years no more high school, at least not in the usual sense. We’ll see these characters as young adults, wrestling with the fallout from everything that happened before. Sam Levinson, the creator, teased a darker, film-noir vibe.
This season digs into identity, morality, and what happens when your past catches up with you. So expect more grown-up problems: careers, complicated love lives, existential dread, all of it.

Cast
Most of the main cast is baCas Zendaya as Rue, Hunter Schafer as Jules, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, Jacob Elordi as Nate, Alexa Demie as Maddy, and Maude Apatow as Lexi.
There are some big new faces, too: Sharon Stone, Rosalía, and even Marshawn Lynch are joining the mix. But not everyone’s returning. Barbie Ferreira (Kat) and Storm Reid (Gia) won’t be in this season.

Getting here wasn’t easy. The writers’ and actors’ strikes in 2023 slowed everything down. On top of that, they lost Angus Cloud (Fezco), which hit the cast and crew hard.
Levinson threw out some early scripts including a storyline where Rue becomes a surrogate to find something that really fit where the show needs to go now. After all that, they finally started filming in early 2025. Now, fans just have to wait for the next chapter.
