Bhopal, April 18 (IANS) Former Congress minister Subhash Kumar Sojatia has offered to transform his pharmacy college hostel into isolation wards to house quarantine patients in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur district.

Sw. Dr. R. M. Sojatia Institute has a pharmacy college and its own hostel with 105 rooms in Neemthur.

Sojatia has written to the Mandsaur collector offering the 105 rooms of his hostel for the quarantined people.

The letter said: “It has come to my notice that people who are quarantined are forced to live in a room of five to seven people, which has increased the chances of infection.”

“The administration can use the hostel for the people who are quarantined, so that people can be protected from infection,” he wrote in the letter.
