English footballing legend, Wayne Rooney was arrested at US airport in December last year, it is revealed.
The legend who plays for DC United currently was arrested over swearing and public intoxication in Washington. The player was later released. A hearing in the case was said to take place on January 24 but it got waived for after he submitted the fine of 116 Euros.
Earlier, in 2017, Rooney was ripped off his driving license for two years over drink-driving. He was also fined with 170 Euros, along with 100 hours of community work.
In the last MLS season, he scored 12 goals.
