New Delhi: Former Union Minister Tariq Anwar returns in his old party and joins back Indian National Congress (INC) after resigning earlier from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Anwar returns is also very special as it’s his birthday and INC national president Rahul Gandhi welcome his joining.

Anwar returns to Congress Party after 19 years. He joins INC after meeting the party national president Rahul Gandhi, will be inducted in the AICC working committee later in the day.

Tariq Anwar has resigned from NCP after alleging its national president Sharad Pawar of supporting PM Modi over Rafale deal.

Tariq Anwar is a Known face in Bihar and national politics and his ‘Ghar Wapsi’ in INC is considered as a huge success by many political experts.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Member of Parliament from Katihar Tariq Anwar resigned from his party alleging the national president Sharad Pawar’s praising Modi government in Rafale deal.

Anwar had made the announcement in his Lok Sabha constituency Katihar that he is quitting from all party posts as well.

The Rafale controversy has sparked a crisis in Sharad Pawar’s NCP ahead of upcoming Lok Sabha election 2019.
