G20 Summit Guidelines
This weekend, if you are travelling from Noida to Delhi, bear the following in mind:
Between September 7 and 10, there will be restrictions on the transportation of heavy vehicles from Noida to Delhi. The Eastern Peripheral Motorway will serve as a diversion for all such vehicles.
Only vehicles carrying essential goods such as milk, vegetables, fruits, and medical supplies, among others, and possessing legitimate ‘no entry permissions’ will be permitted to enter Delhi. Goods vehicles destined for Noida, particularly those that routinely use DND Flyway, Kalindi Kunj, and Chilla regulator, will be directed to EPE.
Those travelling to Delhi on the specified dates may require special passes and must carry valid identification for inspections.
Several offices in Noida and Ghaziabad have been instructed to provide WFH for their employees during the G20 weekend.
If you are travelling to IGI Airport, New Delhi, or Old Delhi railway stations, you should plan your route to follow the suggested routes and leave early. Best to ride the tube.
The Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate has issued prohibitive orders until October 15 in order to maintain peace and law and order in the district until the conclusion of the event.
