GATE Admit Card 2020: The admit card is likely to release today, on January 3, 2020, by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 at its official website. Candidates who have applied for the GATE 2020 exam can download the admit card by logging the official website at gate.iitd.ac.in.
The GATE exam 2020 is slated to be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020.

Candidates will be needed to carry the admit card to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID otherwise they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

Exam pattern of GATE 2020
The GATE 2020 exam will be of three hours duration and they consist of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks.
The exam will be conducted in a multiple-choice question format. Each question will be of either one or two marks. For each wrong answer, 1/3rd of allotted marks will be deduced.
All the papers will carry a total of 65 questions of 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks will be on General Aptitude (GA), which is intended to test the Language and Analytical Skills.
