Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur asked people to give him books instead of bouquets during welcome ceremonies and other interactions.
MoS Finance & Corporate Affairs under the Modi government, Anurag Thakur in a tweet said, the books gifted will be made available for children in his Lok Sabha constituency through to the SMILE – Sansad Mobile Library for Education initiative launched by him.
