Gold and Silver Prices Today, July 29: Gold and silver prices stayed under a bit of pressure on Wednesday, July 29, as investors became a tad cautious before the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), both precious metals were trading lower in early trade taking cues from weak global signals and a firmer US dollar.
In the physical market retail gold price levels were still holding high even after the recent corrections. As per the available data, 24-carat gold is moving near ₹1,40,330 for 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold is around ₹1,33,650 per 10 grams across several markets on July 29.

Market Outlook
Market experts suggest gold and silver might stay a bit volatile in the short run, because investors are reacting to the Fed’s policy announcement. If there is any clue that interest rates are going to stay higher for longer, that could keep some downward pressure on precious metals, even if traders want relief. On the other hand, more dovish signals could help precious metals bounce back like a rebound after a stumble.
