GSEB SSC Result 2020: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, GSHSEB has declared the GSEB SSC Result 2020 on its official website gseb.org today on June 9. As many as 10.83 lakh students have taken the SSC examinations held in March 2020. This year, the pass percentage recorded is 60.64%.
HSC Science Results were declared by the board in May month. The HSC Arts & Commerce Results 2020 will now be released by the board. It is likely to be out before June 15, when the admission process for undergraduate colleges in the state would start. However, there is no update yet from the board about the same.
GSEB SSC was held from March 5 to March 17. About 10.83 lakh students have appeared for the examinations this year. The topper of the Gujarat Board Class 10 exam has scored 94.66 percent in the state, according to moneycontrol reports.
The pass percentage for this year is recorded at 60.64%. Out of 4,49,844 students who have appeared in the Gujarat Board Class 10 exams, 66.02 percent of girls have passed the exams outperforming the boys. The pass percentage for boys is 56.53 percent.

Out of the total 10.83 lakh students, 8.40 lakh were regular students and 2.25 lakh were repeating the exam this year.
Surat has the best SSC result with 94.66% pass percentage. Ahmedabad has recorded 64.91% result and Rajkot has 64.08% result.
Out of the total schools, 291 schools have recorded a 100 per cent result. In other words, all the students of the schools have passed their GSEB SSC 2020 exams. 174 schools have recorded a 0 per cent result while 1671 students have secured above 90 percentile result.
Moreover, English Medium schools have performed better with an overall pass percentage of 86.75%, followed by Hindi Medium with 63.94%. Hence, Gujarati medium schools recorded the pass percentage of 57,54%.
