Gujarat Congress Committee president Amit Chavda has condemned the attack followed against people north India in Gujarat, after a minor girl was raped by a resident of Bihar and said that “Such incidents of attacks against the Migrants also exposes the rising lawlessness and sheer failure of Gujarat government in upholding the rule of law in the state, and instead of doing its job, government is trying to escape its responsibility by baselessly blaming opposition.”
Speaking exclusively with Newsd, Chavda says, “RSS-BJP men behind this planned attack against north Indians and shifting blame on us.” He also says that the Gujarat government is protecting the perpetrators of the violence unleashed against north Indians.
“The local administration is giving indirect support and a free hand to the people involved in the violence”, says Chavda.
Congress has condemned the attack and demanded strict action against those involved in the attack.
