The Valentine Thursday saw a big release by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The movie, Gully Boy became a talk of the town before hitting the big screens, be it heavy promotions by the lead stars of the film or the infamous rap by Ranveer Singh “Apna Time Ayega”.
It’s quite evident that the audience was very excited to see Ranveer and Alia on the screen for the first time. The film that released on Feb 14 gave the audience yet another reason to go and watch the film. According to the early estimates, the film has expected a collection between Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore on its opening day.
Since its release, the film is getting rave reviews by the critics and the audience as well. Ranveer- Alia’s acting is also being appreciated by the audience a lot.

Gully Boy is based on a slum rapper from Mumbai who wants to rise above his socio-economic status to become a star. The film is inspired from two street rappers Divine and Naezy.
Special screening of the film was also held on Wednesday night by Ranveer and Alia in Mumbai. They have also received many appreciations from their close ones.
The film which released on 3350 screens in India and a total of 4101 screens worldwide also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Amruta Subhash in crucial roles.
The film is also expected to pick up pace over the weekend.
