Government procurement of wheat in the district will commence from today. Admission to Mandi will be given from Gate pass. The Gate pass will be on showing SMS on mobile. Only 50 people will get gate passes in a day. This information was given by DC Naresh Narwal.

The DC said that 12 checkpoints have been installed to check the wheat coming from other states. Magistrates have been appointed on Mandi. Purchase related information can be obtained on toll-free number 1950.

SMS will not be sent to the farmers of the containment zone. MGNREGA workers will be taken to work in Mandis. Instructions have also been issued for the provision of drinking water, lighting, sanitation, sanitation as well as factoring, soaps, sanitizer, masks, etc., for employees, farmers and labourers in Mandi premises.

The main procurement centres in the district will be Barauli, Aurangabad, Bamani Kheda, Chant, Dhanarrow, Dighat, Hasanpur, Handloom, Hodal, Khan, Mandkula and Palwal. In Hasan Pur area, Janata School playground, Som Rice Mill, Khel Stadium, Goodja, Rajiv Park Bata have been set up as procurement centres.

Garg Rice Mill Punhana Road, Sriji Food Industry, Jai Gurudev Rice Mill Ninh Road, Dinesh Rice Mill, Ganpati Rice Mill NH 19, Mahavir Rice Mill Hasanpur Road and Krishna Rice Mill, Mayank Rice Mill Hodal Procurement Centre will be in Hodal area.

In Palwal area, Bhandari Rice Mill, Manat Rice Mill, Sita Ram Rice Mill Village Deoli, iti Palwal near Khel Stadium, Haryana Urban Development Authority sector 12 Palwal and Om Sparrow Hospital have been set up in the vacant plains and handloom area and additional procurement centres have been set up at Government Polytechnic, Mandkula and Government College, handloom.
