Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna is the most sought-after female actor in the south. Recently, the actor had to face a bitter experience when a troller called her a ‘dagar’ (which means prostitute in Kannada) by posting a few childhood photographs of her.
She made her debut in Telugu with Chalo in 2015. But, it was Geetha Govindam which brought her to the limelight. In a short span, she became one of the sought-after actresses in the South with her growing popularity.
Ever since she called off her engagement with Rakshit Shetty, his fans have been targetting her left, right and center.
The Dear Comrade actress was furious when she saw the meme and decided to teach him a lesson. She lashed out at him and stated that ‘no actor deserves this crap.’
She wrote, “I don’t know what you guys get out of doing this to us actors. Is it because we are the soft targets for you? The public figure doesn’t mean you can target us ruthlessly. A lot of you keep saying- ignore the bad comments or trolls and I generally ‘do’. Say anything you want about our work- you have the right but no one has any right to say anything about our families or our personal lives. No actor deserves this crap. Because let me tell you this, being an actor is not easy. Each and every profession deserves the utmost respect. I think people should first start respecting one another.”
Rashmika finds riding a bike “fun and adventurous” but she doesn’t like to ride pillion. She even loathes riding a bike on deserted city roads. Rashmika hesitates to talk in a group. She fears that she may end up making mistakes while talking. The actor doesn’t like comments from audiences such as “she couldn’t do that role properly.”
She is always on her toes when it comes to executing her tasks perfectly. In a way, her fears are helping her to do work with caution. The actor believes that this would increase her passion to win.
