Himachal Pradesh police were left embarrassed when few of it’s officials live streamed on Facebook details of a secret operation. The case is related to Solan police who were on their secret operation to arrest criminals involved in attempting murder of a businessman.
Multiple teams were dispatched around India to catch the criminals, among those the four policemen who were sent to Rajasthan(Jaipur), performed Facebook live revealing sensitive details of the operation. Along with their names, police revealed their location details.
Earlier in January, three miscreants had attempted to kill a businessman at his office. The picture of all were captured by the CCTV which was then used by the force to search for the fled criminals.
While talking to media, Police Superintendent Madhusudan Sharma informed that multiple teams were dispatched to different places to make the arrest, the police has been informed that one team had streamed live on Facebook, action will be taken against the team.
