Holi 2024: Delhi Metro Operational on March 25! Changes in Timings & More Details

Holi 2024: According to what officials announced on Friday, Delhi Metro services will start on March 25, 2024, at 2:30 pm.

DMRC stated, “On the occasion of Holi festival, i.e., March 25, 2024 (Monday), metro services will not be available until 2:30 PM on all lines of the Delhi Metro, including Rapid Metro/Airport Express.”

As of 2:30 PM, all terminal stations will resume service on all lines and will operate normally thereafter, according to the DMRC.

Depending on the metro line and the day of the week, the operational timings vary. However, the metro services typically begin at 5:00 a.m. and end around 11:00 p.m.

According to the Delhi Police, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has closed the ITO Metro station from 8 am to 6 pm today, March 22, 2024, due to the AAP’s protest.

Delhi Metro, India’s largest and busiest rapid transit system, connects the nation’s capital with its satellite cities.

For the ongoing festive season of Holi, Indian Railways has added 540 additional train services to meet the increased passenger demand. In addition to Delhi-Patna, Delhi-Bhagalpur, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Saharsa, Gorakhpur-Mumbai, Kolkata-Puri, Guwahati-Ranchi, New Delhi-Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Jaipur-Bandra Terminus, Pune-Danapur, Durg-Patna, Barauni-Surat, and others, these additional trains are strategically planned to connect major destinations throughout the country.
