Bigg Boss Kannada OTT Star Sonu Srinivas Gowda Arrested: Sonu Srinivas Gowda, who is famous for being on Bigg Boss Kannada OTT, was arrested in Bengaluru, Karnataka, after she said she was adopting a girl child who is 8 years old. Officials say she didn’t follow the right steps for the adoption and even say she did it just to get attention on social media.
Sonu was arrested by the Child Protection Office and Bengaluru police on Friday morning, and a case was filed against her on Thursday.
The Child Protection Office says Sonu adopted the child to get “troll status” and “unwarranted sympathy.”
Even so, Sonu has said that she is innocent and that she took all the right steps before she adopted the girl child. Before, she showed a tape of a call she had with the girl’s parents that had been recorded.
Sonu says that it’s only been 15 days since she brought the child home, and that all the paperwork will be done in three months.
Authorities say she didn’t have all the information they needed when they asked her about the adoption, which made them suspicious.
Sonu is being questioned by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) right now. They want to know about the whole adoption process and why she decided to adopt the child. They said that the child would also be taken into their care.
