Holi special gift from Central Railway! 26 extra trains to run, here’s the list

The trains will run on different days between March 5-15 with different respective coach composition. Reservation will begin from February 29 onwards.

Indian Railway is coming up with a special gift on the festival of Holi. The Central Railway is going to operate 26  extra trains on its north-bound routes from Mumbai to clear the rush during the festival of colours. Accordingly, it will operate four weekly special trains each between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Patna, LTT-Varanasi, LTT-Mau and Pune-Danapur route.

There is a total of ten trains that will be operated between Pune and Balharshah stations.

The trains will run on different days between March 5-15 with different respective coach composition. Reservation will begin from February 29 onwards.

 Here’s the full list of special trains for Holi:

LTT-Patna-LTT specials (Weekly)

Train number 02041 will leave at 5:10 PM on March 5 and 12 and will arrive at Patna at 11:20 AM on next day i.e. March 6 and 13 respectively.

Train number 01104 will leave Patna at 9 PM on March 6 and 13 and will arrive at LTT at 4:10 AM on March 8 and 15 respectively

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Pipapriya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara.

Composition: One AC 2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class and 5 General Second Class

LTT-Varanasi-LTT specials (Weekly)

Train no. 01117 will leave LTT at 11:05 PM on March 8 and 15 and will arrive at Varanasi at 6:15 AM on the third day i.e. March 10 and 22.

Train no. 02048, meanwhile, will leave Varanasi at 8:00 AM on March 10 and 17 and will arrive at LTT at 2 PM the next day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Pipapriya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur and Allahabad Chheoki.

Composition: One AC 2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class and 5 General Second Class

LTT-Mau-LTT specials (weekly)-four trips

Train no. 02043 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 5:10 AM on March 7 and 14 and will arrive at Mau at 9:50 AM on the next day.

Train no. 01120, meanwhile, will leave Mau at 7:25 PM on March 8 and 15 and will arrive LTT on March 10 and 17 respectively.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Vidisha, Bina, Saugor, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur and Allahabad Chheoki, Varanasi and Aunrihar Jn.

Composition: One AC 2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class and 5 General Second Class

Pune-Danapur-Pune specials (weekly)- four trips

Train number 01123 will leave Pune at 5:40 PM on March 8 and 15 and will arrive at Danapur at 1:30 AM on March 10 and 22 respectively

Train number 01124, meanwhile, will leave Danapur at 6:30 AM on March 11 and 17 and will arrive at Pune at 5:10 PM next day.

Halts: Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipapriya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaye, Buxar and Ara.

Composition: One AC 2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class and 5 General Second Class

Pune-Ballarshah-Pune specials (weekly)-ten trips

Train number 02049 will leave Pune at 5:30 PM on every Tuesday between March 3-31 (five trips) and will arrive at Ballarshah at 2:25 PM the next day.

Train number 01480, meanwhile, will leave Ballarshah at 6:15 PM on every Wednesday from March 4-April 1 (five trips) and will arrive at Pune at 5 PM the next day.

Halts: Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Virar, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Bhestan, Chalthan, Nandurbar, Amalner, Dharagaon, Paldhi, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Wardha, Hinganghat and Chandrapur.

Composition: One AC 2 Tier, Five AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class and 6 General Second Class
