How to Become a Cult Leader: The Netflix trailer for the documentary series How to Become a Cult Leader has been released. It is the latest installment in Netflix’s “How To Become” documentary series, following 2021’s How To Become A Tyrant.
The producers of these documentaries, Citizen Jones and Estuary Films, have also announced that How To Make A Mob Boss will be released in 2024.

A glimpse inside the cult leader’s playbook for attaining unconditional love, unending devotion, and the ability to exert control over the minds, bodies, and souls of others.
Peter Dinklage narrates How to Become a Cult Leader, who presents this satirical “guidebook” for gaining a devoted cult following. This trailer makes references to sects such as Aum in Japan, Osho from Wild Wild Country, Michel of Buddhafield, and others.
Citizen Jones, in collaboration with Estuary Films, is developing the series. Jonas Bell Pasht, Jonah Bekhor, Peter Dinklage, David Ginsberg, and Jake Laufer served as executive producers.
The How to Become a Cult Leader series will begin streaming on July 28, 2023.
