Again the summer is here. The scorching heat can take away all your interest towards life. Excessive heat can cause dehydration, sun burn, heat cramps etc. Precautions are essential to combat the summer. Follow these steps to keep yourself cool in the summer:
Wear loose lightweight clothing
Loose Cotton Kurtas and Kurtis will keep you cool and comfortable despite the heat. Try to wear light-coloured clothes as it absorbs less heat compared to the dark-coloured.
Drink plenty of water and fresh juice
water is the most important, and often most forgotten, nutrient. Adequate fluid content will helps to maintain the body temperature.Natural juices can keep you hydrated and provides sufficient nutrients to keep you active.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine
Excess alcohol and Caffeine can dehydrate your body.
Try to stay indoors in the afternoon
Heat intensity is at its worst by noon. So, it is better to avoid going outside in the afternoon. If you are going, wear a UV protected sunglass.
Use a higher-rated, waterproof sunscreen. Don’t forget to cover areas that burn easily: nose, ears, shoulders, and back of the neck.
