Dahi vada are soft lentil fritters soaked in creamy yogurt. Dahi means yogurt and vada are deep fried fritters. These melt-in-the-mouth snack is topped with tamarind chutney and green chutney.

How to make soft dahi vada?
- Use half moong and half urad dal.
- Do not add a lot of water to grind the dal.
- Don’t forget salt in batter.
- Beat the batter using stand mixer.
- Make equal sized vadas.
- Heat oil at correct temperature.
- Soak fried vadas in warm water water for 15 to 20 minutes.
