How to Restore Honor in MW2

The second season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 added several new features to its well-known multiplayer and battle royale modes. However, one of the most well-liked additions to the most recent chapter is the return of the fast-paced Resurgence Mode.

It is inevitable to become caught in the crossfire due to the rapid succession of action-packed battles occurring across the entire Ashika Island map. Although dying in these skirmishes is an undesirable outcome for any player, the new Restore Honor feature makes being incapacitated somewhat more tolerable. How precisely can Honor be restored in MW2? Here are the known facts.

How is Honor Restored in MW2 Resurgence matches?

You can Restore Honor by collecting the dog tag that spawned after you or a teammate were incapacitated. When you successfully collect these dog tags, you’ll receive a small cash reward and a single UAV ping of the surrounding area that identifies nearby enemies and Supply Boxes.

If you were able to recover either your own or a teammate’s dog tag after being eliminated, you will be awarded $1000, a 50-meter loot ping, and the standard 300-meter UAV ping. Notably, the cash prize is only awarded once per match, whereas the UAV and loot pings are provided each time a dog tag is collected.

Since Restoring Honor is part of the Path of the Ronin Event, you should attempt it as soon as you enter a lobby for Resurgence. This is because dog tags only drop once per match, and after the fourth circle, respawns are disabled. Alternately, you can attempt to complete the specific challenge by scoring 100 defence kills, but it seems much simpler to collect five dog tags.
