Mangal Pandey, the newly-appointed BJP in-charge of Himachal Pradesh urged the party workers on Friday to work hard and ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming Assembly elections.
He was heard giving the slogan of 60 plus seats. He also said that people wanted a change from the allegedly “corrupt-Congress government”.
“Do not see me as the state in-charge, I am just a party worker like you. I started as a booth in-charge and rose to this level,” he said.
Former chief minister P K Dhumal and state chief Satpal Singh Satti also addressed the party workers at Deep Kamal.
