With less than a week to go, as the number of coronavirus cases in many cities continued to increase, so did the requirements for postponing the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) exam. Several students are seeking to cancel the chartered accountancy exams that will begin on November 21, Saturday.
Concerned students took to Twitter to share their angst. Some said their exam centres fall in containment zones or have been allotted exam centres in different states.
ICAI CA exam admit cards can be downloaded from the official website — icai.org using the registration numbers and other requisite information. The CA foundation, intermediate and final exams will be conducted from November 21 to December 15.
ICAI releases statement on Twitter
“Candidates for ICAI Exams starting from November 21, 2020, are informed that exams will be held as per schedule.”
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) further said: “They [candidates] should only concentrate on exam studies and not be misled by any false propaganda/incorrect statements made and should only refer to announcements at http://icai.org.”
Step to download CA admit cards
- Candidates are required to visit the official page and download admit card by logging — icai.org.
- Enter registration numbers and other required credentials
- The exam will be held on the scheduled date from 2 PM.
