Players Who Will Not Play India vs. Australia 3rd ODI: Today’s match at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium will presumably feature the absence of a significant number of India’s squad members from this series.

Wednesday (September 27) in Rajkot will host the third and final One-Day International of the ongoing three-match ODI series between India and Australia. The Men in Blue have already secured a 2-0 series victory over the five-time World Cup champions, having won the first two One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in Mohali and Indore. For the third ODI between India and Australia, senior players Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah will return after being rested for the first two matches. Despite the return of these star players, it is anticipated that India will not deploy a fully-strength squad in the third ODI. Today’s forthcoming match at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium will feature the absence of a large number of India’s squad members from this series.

Players Who Will Not Play India vs. Australia 3rd ODI

List of India players who participated in the first two One-Day Internationals but will miss the third ODI against Australia.

Shubman Gill, who scored 74 and 104 in the first two One-Day Internationals, has reportedly been rested for the third ODI in consideration of burden management.

Ruturan Gaikwad was selected only for the first two One-Day Internationals of the 2023 Asian Games.

Prasidh Krishna: The pacer was only selected for the first two ODIs and will not play in Rajkot. He participated in the second ODI in Indore and took two wickets with consecutive deliveries in his first over.

Shardul Thakur, a pace bowling all-rounder, participated in the first two ODIs against Australia but did not take a wicket. He has reportedly been excused for the third ODI between India and Australia.

According to a report on Cricbuzz, Axar Patel is still undergoing rehabilitation at Bengaluru’s NCA for a left quadriceps strain. Cricbuzz claims that Axar will miss the third ODI between India and Australia.

Mukesh Kumar: The pacer was brought in to replace Jasprit Bumrah in the 2nd ODI, but he did not participate. With Bumrah returning for the 3rd ODI, he will be dropped from the team.

Tilak Verma was a member of the Indian team for the first two One-Day Internationals, but he did not participate. He will not participate in the third ODI and will travel to China to represent India in the cricket competition at the 2023 Asian Games.
