IND vs PAK Asia Cup Weather Forecast: The Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2023 has begun, and hosts Pakistan have already won their first match of the stage, defeating Bangladesh by seven wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

However, all eyes are on the keenly anticipated Pakistan vs. India Super Four match scheduled for Sunday, September 10 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. With a forecast of precipitation, fans are crossing their fingers and imploring that the game will remain dry.

The organising committee is aware of the impending rain on September 10 and has set aside a backup date in case the game cannot be completed on that date. The reserve day is only allotted for the Super Four match between India and Pakistan and the final, while all other Super Four matches will be without one.

The earlier group stage match between these bitter rivals was postponed due to rain, and the prognosis for Sunday does not inspire optimism either. According to Weather.com, there is a 90% probability of rain in Colombo on Sunday. Accuweather, another weather forecasting service, also predicts inclement weather conditions for Sunday.

Accuweather’s forecast for Sunday, September 10, also indicates a 90% probability of showers and a 54% chance of thunderstorms. The weather forecast is unfavourable, and if it proves accurate, it may not endanger the game, but it could dampen the spirits of those who purchased tickets for the high-stakes contest.
