CBSE 10th Result 2020 update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on announced the CBSE class 10th exam results on its official website on July 15. Students of class 10 who have appeared in the CBSE board examination can check their result online at official websites of CBSE, cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
CBSE 10th Result 2020: 91.46% students pass
A total of 91.46% students have passed CBSE class 10th exam this year. Last year, the pass percent was 91.10.
There is an increase of 0.36 % in the pass percentage of CBSE class 10th as compared to last year. This year the pass percent is 91.46 while in 2019 it was 91.10.
This year also, girls have outscored boys in CBSE 10th result. The pass percent of girls is 93.31. Pass percentage of boys is 90.14
The CBSE class 10 results 2020 are special because this year, the marks have been awarded without conducting all the exams.
Earlier, CBSE informed that the CBSE 12th and 10th Results 2020 will be announced by July 15, 2020. Meanwhile, it is still not confirmed whether the CBSE will release both Class 10 and 12th Result 2020 on the same day. An official confirmation on the same is awaited from the CBSE board authorities.
Immediately after the declaration of the Class 10 result, admission to intermediate courses will begin. Students should therefore keep an eye on the admission related updates.
If a student fails in any of the subject, then the board will conduct the compartment exam. Dates of these exams will be released after the result declaration.
If last year’s trend is to be followed, the students can expect the CBSE results for Class 10 the last week of May or June first week.

How to calculate CGPA of CBSE 10th Result 2020?
- First of all, Add your grade points of the main five subjects
- Now, divide it by 5.
For example, if your grade points for the five main subjects are: 9, 8, 9, 9 and 7, then
Step 1: Add the grade points: 9+8+9+9+7 = 42
Step 2: Divide it by 5; 42/5 = 8.4
Thus, your CGPA will be 8.4.

- In order to convert your overall CGPA into the percentage, multiply it by 9.5.
- For example, When CGPA is 8.4, it should be multiplied by 9.5,
- Thus, 8.4 x 9.5 = 79.80%
