Kia India has partially revealed the Seltos’s front styling in its official teaser, though we’ve already seen the SUV’s final production form in surveillance photos. In India, the facelifted Kia Seltos has a slightly different-looking front bumper, more body cladding, and additional body-colored inserts in the foglamp housing, compared to the international model. As seen in the teaser, as part of the mid-life facelift, the Seltos receives redesigned headlights with new LED daytime running lamps.
There are no significant modifications to the sides, but some models will receive a new alloy wheel design. Backwards, the India-bound Seltos has a distinctive design with a different fender than the overseas model. Depending on the variant, there will be additional rear-end cosmetic changes. Similar to newer Kia models, the taillights have been redesigned to extend downwards vertically. It is anticipated that the India-bound Sonet facelift and the yet-to-be-unveiled facelifted new-generation Carnival MPV will feature the same taillight design.
The official teaser offers us our first look at the India-specific Seltos’ interior, which features an all-new dashboard design. The facelifted Seltos will feature a panoramic sunroof, a new dual-screen configuration with a curved display, an ADAS suite, dual-zone climate control, and an updated infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Kia Seltos facelift engine choices
The 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 115 horsepower and the 1.5-liter diesel engine will remain available. In addition, the new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque will supplant the 1.4-liter turbo petrol engine, which has already been discontinued.
