Honda Elevate Bookings to Begin on July 3

Honda Elevate Bookings to Begin on July 3: According to dealer sources, Honda will begin taking reservations for its highly anticipated Elevate midsize SUV on July 3 at a price of Rs 21,000. Our sources verified that Honda will announce pricing by the end of August or the beginning of September. The Elevate will be on static exhibit in showrooms by the end of July, with test drives commencing in early August.

Honda Elevate Bookings to Begin on July 3: Honda Elevate variant details

According to dealer sources, the Elevate will be available in four trim variants. Although exact trim details are not yet available, it will presumably mirror the City sedan’s SV, V, VX, and ZX trim levels. A manual gearbox will be standard across the board, while an automatic transmission will be available on all trim levels except the base model.

The Elevate will be powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine producing 121 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 7-speed CVT gearbox. While this powertrain is shared with the City, the 1.5-liter gasoline-hybrid powertrain from the sedan will not be available on the Elevate because it has not yet been localised and would have been prohibitively expensive.

Elevate Honda design, interior, and features

Elevate dimensions are comparable to those of the Creta and Seltos, measuring 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in breadth, 1,650mm in height, and having a wheelbase of 2,650mm. It also has segment-leading ground clearance of 220 mm. The styling is typically Honda, taking elements from the brand’s global lineup such as the CR-V and WR-V, and while it has all the essential SUV styling characteristics, it could be considered conservative by some.

We were most impressed with the Elevate’s interior quality and space. With its soft-touch surfaces and comfortable, roomy seating, the interior has a distinctly upscale feel. It also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, a lane-watch camera, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and Honda’s ADAS suite with collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and more. It only has a single-pane sunroof, despite the fact that panoramic sunroofs have become the norm in this segment.

Honda Elevate Bookings to Begin on July 3: Honda Increases Price and Competitors

Elevate will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, and the forthcoming Citroen C3 Aircross upon its release. Given the intense competition in the midsize SUV market, Honda’s pricing strategy for the Elevate will carry significant weight.
