A digital consultant Sukhada has come up in front yelling over the many struggles of Indian employees maintaining their personal and professional life due to demands of “workaholic bosses”.

Taking to her respective Twitter handle, Sukhda posted a tweet elaborating how Indian bosses, company founders have the tendency to disturb the employees even during leaves and vacations, without respecting their space and time; how bosses make the employee feel ashamed of taking a leave.

“I absolutely despise how Indian companies and founders, with no concept of life-work balance, shame employees for taking leaves and having a life outside work. Calls on weekends, guilting a person during and post leave, infinite power games. Shameful” read the Twitter post which has gone viral and has been retweeted over thousand times with more than two thousand likes since it was tweeted on August 26.

The Twitter handle cited an experience from one of her acquaintance from Bangalore who was embarrassed by his/her boss over not attending the phone call amid a wedding for which he/she had taken the leave with two-month advance notice.

No limiting here, Sukhada wrote more posts expressing her anger over the many bosses who expect an employee to be exactly like them.

“And of course, there are jerks who proudly claim that when they got married, they were at work THE VERY NEXT DAY. The day we stop having founders and bosses like this, we can perhaps *start* to talk about mental health at workplaces” read another tweet by Sukhada.
