International Men’s Health Week theme

Every year International Men’s Health Week focuses on a specific theme and this year the theme is Men’s Health Matters and the call to action is Make the Time. Take Time. As the theme suggests, it is all about taking action now and making time for the pressing issues that matter. The attention given to men’s health issues isn’t enough and therefore this day aims at making time for it.

International Men’s Health Week significance

International Men’s Health Week significance has always been about the increased awareness of preventable health problems for males of all ages and supporting the male gender into engaging in a healthier lifestyle. Another primary focus of this day is to encourage the early detection and treatment of health difficulties in males, especially the ones specific to the male gender. MHW gives everyone an opportunity to encourage men and boys to take better care of their health and to seek help or treatment at an early stage so that early diagnosis can make the treatment of the health issues easier.
