IRCTC’ reply to man’ complaint about “obscene and vulgar ads” is breaking the internet

In around half an hour, the Twitter account of the Indian Railways Seva - official handle for support to passengers of Indian Railways, came up with a badass reply.

The Indian Railways on Wednesday, May 29, began trending on Twitter after it posted a reply full of sass to an app user Anand Kumar who complained about finding “obscene and vulgar ads very frequently appearing on the IRCTC ticket booking app,” and shared screenshots of various advertisements alongside.

In around half an hour, the Twitter account of the Indian Railways Seva – official handle for support to passengers of Indian Railways, came up with a badass reply.

Responding to the complaint, IRCTC said, “Irctc uses Googles ad serving tool ADX for serving ads.These ads uses cookies to target the user. Based on user history and browsing behaviour ads are shown. Pl clean and delete all browser cookies and history to avoid such ads”.

Within no time the tweet went viral, with many Twitterati coming up with memes and hilarious responses.
