Stern asked Cohen about his friendships with Mayer during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” observing that the singer is mentioned frequently in Cohen’s new book, “The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up.”
“I am in love with John Mayer,” Cohen stated. “We are deeply in love with each other.”
Stern noted that the two go on camping excursions together and asked Cohen to swear on his young children Benjamin and Lucy’s lives that there has never been anything sexual between him and Mayer. Cohen complied.
It is not the first time Cohen has dispelled rumours that he and Mayer are romantically involved.
In 2018, he denied the relationship to CNN.
Cohen stated, “Listen, we have a very sweet friendship, and we are always together.” “I believe I was not startled because we share a deep affection for one another. So, it just seems like the obvious presumption.”
CNN has reached out for comment from Mayer.
