ISIS has not been able to establish itself in India, says Rajnath Singh

On Saturday, Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, said that the NDA government has successfully completed three years in power under the strong and decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking about defence and security in the country, Singh said that security condition in India has improved, as the Centre has been successful in countering the challenges posed by ISIS.

He also said that despite being one of the countries, that has the largest Muslim population in the world, ISIS has not been able to establish itself in India.

The Union Minister added that after surgical strikes, there has been 45% decrease in infiltration from Pakistan. He also said that there have only been two attacks in the last three years, but all the terrorists have been killed.

Singh also said that the left-wing extremism has reduced in their tenure. Moreover, he has also promised to bring back peace in Kashmir, amid the ongoing tension in the valley.
