Jamshedpur former MLA asks citizens to chant "Jai Jharkhand" else leave the state

Jharkhand People’s Party (JPP) founder and the former Ghatshila MLA Surya Singh Besra in a Facebook post on Friday hit out at Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Biharis for illegally occupying Jharkhand state.

In a series of Facebook posts, the tribal leader Besra, who shot to fame during the separate Jharkhand movement, said that those who live in Jharkhand have to say “Jai Jharkhand” and those who chant “Jai Shri Ram” must leave the state. He continued saying that said apart from adivasis, only those living in Jharkhand from 1932 onwards are moolvasis and have the right to live here.

In another post, he said that “Majhi, Mahato bhai bhai, bahari Bihari bye bye”. Further, Besra claimed that villages should be ruled by “manki-munda” (a tribal panchayat) system and not by “outsiders”. He also expressed his desire to become the CM of Jharkhand for a day.
