JNVST admissions 2020: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will going to declare the result for the Jawahar Bavodyala Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for admission to classes 6th and 9th on June 19, Friday. The Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) informed regarding this decision through a tweet.
The tweet read, “Happy to share that select list of candidates for admission to Class VI in summer bound areas and lateral entry for class IX in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas for the session 2020-21 will be declared on 19th June 2020. Stay tuned.”

The result for both class 6 and 9 entrance exams will be published at the official website, nvshq.org, nvsadmissionsclassnine.in, and navodaya.gov.in. A list of cut-off and shortlisted candidates will also be released.
Selected candidates will be called for document verification. It is expected that document verification will be held digitally, however, there is no official confirmation.
Over 30 lakh students appeared for the entrance test for the class 6 admissions in April. The result was supposed to be released in May, however, it was delayed because of the coronavirus.
The Vidyalaya would also release the lateral entry test 2020 result for Class 9 on the same date. The lists will be out for JNVST Admission 2020 on the official site of navodaya.gov.in.

- Marks obtained in previous class
- Marks obtained in the entrance exam
- Reserved category certificate if any
- Resident certificate
- Education qualification documents
- JNVST admit card

How to check the JNVST result 2020:
- Step 1: Go to the official website, navodaya.gov.in
- Step 2: On the homepage, a pop-up will crop up. Click on ‘provisional select list..’
- Step 3: A new page will appear
- Step 4: Click on the region you applied from
- Step 5: A PDF will open, search your name
The entrance exam for class 6 of summer bound JNVs was held on January 11, 2020, and the Class 9 exam was conducted on February 8, 2020. The final stage preparation and approval of the result is going on and will be declared on June 19.
