The trailer of much-awaited film ‘Jolly LLB 2’ starring Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi is out. The film revolves around the life of a not-so-famous lawyer who tries to leave a mark in the big, bad world.
In the film, Akshay will be seen as a blunt, sharp and yet oddly compassionate lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly. The 2 minute 37 second long trailer begins with depicting Jolly’s lack of sincerity towards his work.
Further, he can be seen asking a witness, “Kya aap bata sakte hain ki Salman Khan ki shaadi kab hogi?” The trailer steadily moves on to set up the character of Jolly as a lawyer with no ethics. All that he needs or wants is to earn hefty cash.
However, a case turns his life and changes him in many ways. Although the trailer that stars on a comical note, it leaves behind many grave sentiments towards the end.
With Akshay’s impeccable acting skills and humorous one-liners that can be apparently seen in the trailer. It can be said that the film would be a must-watch. The actor handles the serious scenes with equal poise.
This is the second instalment of the hit franchise. The film has been directed by Subhash Kapoor and stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, Manav Kaul and Saurabh Shukla in significant roles. The film is slated to release on February 10, 2017.
