Kangana Ranaut’s lawyer replies to BMC ‘Stop Work’ notice

In the notice, the BMC has said if Kangana fails to produce permission, then without any further notice, the building will be removed or pulled down.

Actor Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday responded to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) that had served actor with a ‘stop work’ notice, a day after the team was spotted at her office, Manikarnika Films to inspect the space.

Under section 354/A of the of Municipal Corporation Act, members of the BMC were spotted pasting a three-page notice on the actor’s office gate. According to Kangana, the BMC “stuck a notice to stop leakage work that is going on in the office.”

In the notice, the BMC has said if Kangana fails to produce permission, then without any further notice, the building will be removed or pulled down. The BMC has given a list of 14 points claiming that the construction is unauthorized. This comes amid war-of-words between Shiv Sena and Kangana over the latter’s controversial remark on Mumbai.

In the ongoing clash between the ‘Panga’ actor and Maharashtra government, Kangana Ranaut said she will fully cooperate with the police and told them to take her blood samples, hours after Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said he has told the Mumbai Police to look into media reports of drug consumption by the actor.

“I am more than happy to oblige the Mumbai Police and Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Please do my drug tests, investigate my call records if you find any links to drug peddlers ever I will accept my mistake and leave Mumbai forever, looking forward to meeting you,” actor Kangana Ranaut said indicating at the developments in the multi-agency probe into the Sushant Singh death case.
