KKHH Special Screening: At the special screening of his 1998 romantic drama film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ on Sunday night, renowned director Karan Johar interacted with the audience and referred to Bollywood sensation Shah Rukh Khan as the “Emperor of entertainment” and the “King of romance.”
On Sunday, SRK, Rani Mukerji, and director Karan Johar surprised admirers in Mumbai by attending a special screening of ‘KKHH’.
The producers of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” re-released the film to commemorate its 25th anniversary.
Several images and recordings of the three interacting with the audience during their visit went viral on social media.
SRK’s fan club uploaded a video of KJo extolling the ‘Chak De India’ actor to X (formerly known as Twitter).
Karan stated, “I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for bhai, Aditya Chopra. He is the emperor of entertainment and the monarch of romance, setting the standard with the manner in which he extends his arms and expresses his love. His enthusiasm is contagious. Therefore, thank you for being you and for permitting me to have this career.”
During the conversation, SRK praised KJo for producing “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” at the age of 24.
The ‘Pathaan’ actor stated, “I just want to say something that is very significant to me: when I joined the film industry, I made some friends who are now family, including Mr. Yash Chopra, Mr. Yash Johar, and Karan’s late father, who was actually my friend more than Karan. My friend’s son is Karan, who was 24 years old when he made the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. As a friend’s son, I am very proud of him for taking this company to tremendous heights.
However, Kajol and Salman Khan, two other stars of the film, were absent from the event.

The 1998 film “KKHH,” which was released on October 16, starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee. The film won numerous awards and received a resounding response from both audiences and critics.
The film’s supporting cast included Salman Khan, Archana Puran Singh, Anupam Kher, and Johny Lever.
The film was a trendsetter during the 1990s. From establishing the custom of giving friendship bands on Friendship Day to SRK’s ‘cool’ pendent and Anjali’s bob-cut, the film established a number of new fashion trends.
