People desperate for government jobs go to extreme lengths, Sanjay Kumar Uded being one, who forged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s signature, on a fake recommendation letter to get a government job of a typist.

Sanjay Kumar, a 30-year-old BSc graduate hailing from Karnataka‘s Belagavi district, has been arrested on being complained by high court deputy registrar Rajeshwari.

After a thorough investigation of police, it has come to light that Sanjay prepared a fake recommendation certificate from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and also forged Narendra Modi’s signature on the letter. Sanjay collected Modi’s signature by downloading its samples from the internet.

However, Kumar’s luck was short-lived since he was arrested by Belagavi police who suspected foul play when he produced a letter from the PMO praising his academic qualifications and typing skills. In the letter which had a forged signature of the Narendra Modi, Kumar had written on behalf of the Prime Minister that he be given a suitable job as per his calibre.

According to the reports, Kumar applied to several places but could not get a job which compelled him to take a ‘short-cut’.
