Couples who have been into inter-caste marriages across the country will no longer have to live in fear. Keeping in mind the safety of such couples, the Kerala government might give them a house for a year. Where they will be able to live in government security and order.

Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja said the proposal was under consideration. They have told that this house will be given to such couples, who are unable to buy their house after marriage.

There have been reports of violence in their homes with many couples on inter cast marriages across the country, but gradually most families in our country started accepting inter cast marriages.

Keeping in mind the better state of education and employment in our country, India started accepting the inter cast marriage. Now middle-class families are accepting inter-caste marriage. According to a survey conducted in the year 2014, 5 per cent of inter cast marriages have occurred in India.

In India, the inter cast marriage has been supported by politician and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai (C. N. Annadurai). Apart from this, social activists Periyar E, V. Ramasamy, Raghupati Venkataratnam Naidu and Manthena Venkata Raju have also supported.

Apart from this, earlier, it has also been announced to award some money to the couple who perform inter cast marriage in Uttar Pradesh.
