Kalikavu: A 55-year-old man invited trouble for himself as he evaded the quarantine to visit the house of his second wife and by doing this he broke the quarantine and as well the heart of his first wife too as he kept his second marriage a secret and that too for past 4 years.
After the news of his second wife came into the public, it was also revealed that he had kept his second marriage as a secret for the last four years.
The man was asked to stay in isolation for 28 days as he took part in the Nizamuddin congregation.
As the man completed his quarantine, he immediately reached the house of his second wife in Mallapuram the next day. The news of man leaving the quarantine spread like a wildfire and the police with the team of health workers reached the house of his second wife.
However, the man returned to his Kayamkulam house on the third day itself. Special Branch SI V Sasidharan informed about the missing man to KayamkulamSpecial Branch ASI Shahjahan. The officers reached his residence in Kayamkulam which was when all his secrets began to spill out.
As per reports, the first wife smashed all his belongings, including his car, after coming to know about his relationship.
He has been booked under the infectious diseases act and has been sent to quarantine for one month.
