Kesaria Assembly Constituency 2025: Kesaria, which was earlier known as Kesariya, is an assembly constituency in the district of East Champaran, Bihar, with a lot of prominence and significance. It belongs to the Purvi Champaran (Lok Sabha) parliamentary area and covers a few administrative blocks viz. Kesaria/parts of Sangrampur and Kalyanpur.

The area is beautiful with the presence of the Buddhistic culture and frequently both Indian and foreign tourists come there. Nevertheless, Kesaria has been a political battleground where various parties have enjoyed their share of the vote bank and ultimately won the election. The result of the 2020 assembly polls was the victory of Shalini Mishra, the Janata Dal-United (JD(U)) candidate, who received 40,219 votes defeating Santosh Kushwaha of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) by whom 30,992 votes were cast. Through this win, the stronghold of JD(U) over the area was confirmed.
