The latest celebrity to join the bandwagon of promoting racism through beauty products is none other than reality TV star Kim Kardashian. The international star received backlash after she posted a picture on her social media accounts to promote her new cosmetic line, KKW Beauty.
In her new make-up campaign, the 36-year-old allegedly made her face darker than her actual skin tone. But this doesn’t go well with her fans who took to social media to express their disappointments. Kim posted the controversial picture on her Instagram and Twitter accounts with the caption, “@KKWBEAUTY Creme Contour & Highlight Kit 6.21.17 KKWBEAUTY.COM”.
But fans aren’t happy with how Kim looked in the picture.
“I just think that that’s not contouring because it’s a little too dark everywhere and if it’s not black face it’s a little too close,” reads a comment on her picture on Instagram.
“Why did she retouch the photo to make herself look so much darker,” reads another.
“You don’t have to do blackface,” a fan tweeted comparing Kim’s natural skin tone and her darkened skin tone with pictures.

oh I agree all of them are gorgeous and clever women but it's embarrassing that she even has to go to this extent to even make a profit
