KVS Class 1 Admission 2020: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the first list of provisionally selected candidates for Class 1 admissions on Tuesday, ie., on August 11, on its official website. Students who have applied for the KVS Class 1 admissions can check the list online at kvsangathan.nic.in.
The release of the second and third merit list is scheduled on August 24 and August 26 respectively, only if seats are still vacant.
The online application process for KVS Class 1 admissions started on July 20 and was concluded on August 7, 2020.
This year, the admission list was released based on the lottery.
Here’s how to check KVS first merit list 2020:
- Go to the official website at kvsangathan.nic.in
- On the homepage, go to the ‘About KVS’ tab and click on Directories
- Click on the option ‘Directory of KVS’
- A new window will appear on the screen
- Choose the Region, State, and City that you have applied for during admission and click on search to get the names of the KVs in the region
- The regional KVS website will appear on the screen
- Click on the link to check the provisional merit list
- Scroll down and check your results.
“Parents can check the status of their applications in lotteries to be conducted for various admission categories by clicking on “Check Application Status” from 6 am, 12 Aug 2020,” reads the notice.
