Mahendra Singh Dhoni dropped from BCCI central contract for 2019-20

MS Dhoni was omitted from a 27-member list of central contract awardees for the 2019-20 season by the BCCI. The former India captain, who hasn’t played competitively since India’s World Cup semifinal exit to New Zealand at Old Trafford, had held an ‘A’ category contract in 2018-19.

A major rail mishap took place near Cuttack in Odisha on Thursday morning, due to dense fog. The Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Express Lokmanya Tilak Express was derailed near Cuttack Nirgundi station. As per initial figures, 40 people have been injured, of which 5 are in a critical condition
