Mabon 2019 will begin on September 21 (Saturday) and end on September 29 (Sunday).

The festival is named after the God of Welsh mythology called Mabon who is the child of Light and the son of the Earth Mother Goddess, Modron.

Significance and celebration of Mabon 2019

It is believed that Mabon is the time of mysteries when spirits are worshipped. It symbolizes second harvest, mysteries, equality, and balance.

It is also the time of balance when people relax and enjoy the fruits of their harvest. In this period, people prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle of their lives and spent quality time with their family.

As per the rituals of Mabon, people build an altar and keep harvest fruits and vegetables as an offering to the Goddess.

During this time, people also pray for peace, stability and good climate. Plenty of fruits are offered and apples are harvested at this time.
